Questions & Answers

Q Why do I need a professional copywriter?
A Marketing your business is a lot like speaking in front of a large group of people. If you don’t quickly communicate your message in the most logical and persuasive manner, you will lose the attention of your audience in seconds.

A professional copywriter is an expert who can help you speak directly to your target audience. A copywriter can tie a brand, a concept and important information together to create a marketing tool that effectively sells your product or service.

Q How do you work?
A

HRG works on an hourly fee, a project fee or on a retainer basis. Depending on the nature and scope of the project, we will determine which arrangement works best for you and then provide you with an estimate to complete the job.

Our hourly fee structure is best suited for smaller-scale jobs, such as editing, proof reading or quick turnaround projects that require minimal concept and creative work.

For sizable projects, such as the creation of website content or a brochure, a project fee is appropriate.

If you need help developing all new print collateral, or you have several projects that must be completed over a period of time, a retainer is the best arrangement for ongoing copywriting services.

Q How can I expect my project to be managed?
A If you don’t have the time or resources to manage the creative process, we can handle the production of your new website or brochure from concept to completion. We have talented art directors and graphic designers who transform copy into visual masterpieces.

Perhaps you already have an in-house staff or a freelancer of choice. That’s great. We will work hand-in-hand with your graphic designer or creative team to complete your project.

What if your project’s scope is beyond copywriting, graphic design and production? We are now traveling into other facets of the communications umbrella where public relations and advertising reside.

While HRG creates the collateral that complements successful public relations and advertising campaigns, we don’t enter into the territory of planning and strategy. Why? Simply put, it’s not our area of expertise.

Should you require serious public relations and advertising know-how, HRG works with seasoned practitioners who can help you with these and other services:

  • Planning and strategy
  • Market research
  • Media and ad buying
  • Media relations, analysis and training
  • Special events
Q What's with the name Hidden Resource Group?
A We are called Hidden Resource Group, or HRG, because we like to think of ourselves as the people you contact when you’re in a crunch. Whether you need help accomplishing your marketing goals, or you are in a pinch for time and need to meet a deadline, we want you to give us a call.

As writers, our natural tendencies are to be in the background, working hard behind the scenes. That doesn’t mean we aren’t fun to work with or don’t appreciate a good networking opportunity. What it does mean is that we are solid, down-to-earth and talented. We are your hidden resource.
